I have a lot of favorite characters in this series. I loved Lake to death and Zephyr is definitely a favorite. Alexander and Charlie were fun to write too. Even if Charlie doesn't speak. She was a challenge to write how she communicates without being too repetitious.

Last month, I really slacked off on keeping updated with #WriteMotivation. I had a bunch of guest posts and I didn't want to take the spotlight off of them, so I let it slide. I was working, but not posting updates really made me feel like I wasn't doing anything.
Out of Secrets Chapter 5
The scent of peppermint filled my senses as I brushed my teeth. I yawned around my toothbrush. My eyes kept trying to shut and I felt myself teetering on the edge of unconsciousness. Monday mornings were brutal after two days of sleeping late.
