Every story takes a lot of work before it's released into the world. So much so, that by the time the story is finished, it can be quite different from the first draft. I recall hearing when I first started writing that 99% of the words in a story will be changed. After finishing Being Human, I believe it.

The What Writing Looks Like Blog Hop hosted by Sarah celebrates the journey from first draft to finish product. All you have to do is take a picture of the red ink you splash across your pages. Show a before and after or even something you scribbled on a napkin. Then link up and visit others.
I decided to use a story that I set aside called Out of Secrets. It's a vampire story about a gay teen and the secrets he has to live with. Edits range from fixing a misspelled word to whole paragraphs written in the margins. Sorry it's a little blurry. I used my cellphone camera. ^^;;

I like your choice of pictures. You have one word/title, cross it out, write a new one, cross out that one, pick a new one and so on and so forth. Those red marks show a lot about the writer's process and journey with the story. Thanks for taking part, Patricia! :)

@Sarah, I still haven't found a title for that chapter that I like. =\

@Tara, thanks. The story needs a little overhaul, and one of these days I will get to it.
