If you've been keeping up with me on TwitterFacebook or this blog then you know I have a job again. A real, steady paying job. Yes, I have been saying I don't have a real job for the past year. In all honesty that's true. My writing isn't at a place where it can pay the bills so I can't really claim it as much of a job.

Anyways, I have a job again and that means a weekly paycheck (I love jobs that pay weekly. It's so nice getting money every week!) What this means is I can finally afford to do stuff for my books. I can market and promote, but most importantly, I can do more giveaways. Yes, I can buy swag and offer it to my wonderful readers (Translation: YOU.)

So what sort of swag do you want to see? I posed this question on Facebook a few months ago, but didn't get many answers. (I also asked how everyone's week was going last week and didn't get a single reply. How am I supposed to interact with my followers when 1) Facebook barely shows anyone my posts and 2) They don't reply?! *sniffles*) Signed paperbacks are a must, but what else? I have bookmarks, but I want more. Cafe Press has a lot of fun items I can design, and I did. Then they apparently decided to delete all my designs. My anguished cries echoed through Michigan. I am willing to ship internationally. I swear I'm practically a best selling author in Romania. (Okay, that's an exaggeration, but I'm still getting emails and the reviews are quiet good.)

This is serious peeps. Tell me what sort of stuff to giveaway. I've even been considering an eReader because that's possible too. (But doesn't everyone have one of those by now? LOL)

PS: Don't forget I have a newsletter you can sign up for here.

Ooh swag! Coffee mugs! Totes! Ummm, oh, really crazy but, calendars with illustrations of your stories or very short teaser excerpts. Yeah, that's kinda out there.
And my week is starting well! :-)

Illustrations would be cool. Not sure if I could afford that right now. =( Maybe if I saved up all year.

Hmm, swag. Bookmarks are good. Perhaps keychains? I love keychains. ;) You can also do magnets and the like too. Something people can carry around to bring interest in your book.

I was thinking Keychains, magnets and buttons would be fun. Little things that are easy to attach to various things.

Well, I'm a first time visitor, I think, so I don't want to prescribe. Prizes open internationally might go over well, though.

I love bookmarks but being that I use my Kindle mostly, I find I don't have anything to do with them :(

I love the idea of keychains since I have to bring my keys everywhere. Stickers could be cool as well since people decorate their laptops with them....maybe even as a promo thing, a window cling for your car advertising your site?

Stickers are a must. I'm definitely thinking getting of those.

Those re-usable grocery store bags are pretty "in" right now!

It's not a grocery store tote, but I do love my Vlad Tod tote that I won. So great idea. =)
