I think I'm on a streak. Am I on a streak? I'm not sure; I need to go look and see if I remembered IWSG last month. Yes, I did, but I forgot to tag it. This one is tagged.

Anyhow... I have no idea what I want to talk about. I don't really have any writing woes. This past week I slacked off and I blame the week before that were I had an awesome week of writing. It always seems when I have a great writing day it's offset by a slow writing day. I guess my mind needs time to recharge. Ah well, that time is usually spent knitting.

I don't really have any encouragement to give. Well, I do, but it's nothing heartwarming or something I haven't said before. I'm trucking along. You're trucking along. Yay us!

Maybe a pit stop here is in order. Kick up your feet a moment and take a deep breath. Revel in what you've accomplished with your writing or muse on what needs to be done. It's always good to take a moment. The world will still be spinning when you're finished. You may need the moment too. Maybe you were frazzled before stopping here, too many thoughts, too much to do. Let a little zen soak in and find your thoughts.

We're all in this together as writers. It's important to connect and have others - a shoulder to lean on or an ear to talk to. That's what makes this group so important. With so many participants you're bound to find someone who can relate to your woes or find encouragement.

There's nothing wrong with needing time to recharge and trucking along is always good. :)

I'm an advocate of recharging. Mostly because I've discovered if I don't voluntarily do it, my mind and body make me.

Agreed: gentle but persistent trucking can achieve great things!
And yes, if your mind needs a break between productive bursts, that sounds like a perfectly valid work structure and you can make the most of both modes...

I guess we can think of our slow writing days or non-writing days as time to recharge.

I'm really bad at recharging. I just want to keep writing and writing because my brain keeps thinking up new things to write. The hands aren't as fast as the mind.

Keep on trucking! :)

Nothing wrong with recharging! I definitely need time to digest my thoughts after a writing binge. ;-)
