First up, I'll start with a few blasts from my childhood. When I was little I wanted to be a mermaid just like Ariel. I thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world. I loved singing along to the songs, my favorite is Part of Your World. I have yet to see the sequel and while I don't doubt it won't be amazing, I still want to check it out one day if only because it's the sequel to the Little Mermaid.
Scott Pilgrim Vs the World wasn't what I expected. I was really thrown off by the video game aspect at first, but it quickly won me over. I think my favorite part is when the first evil ex breaks into song. All the characters are like WTF??????
I am not a big fan of holiday movies, but Elf is one that I don't mind seeing every year. In fact, I like it so much I bought it recently. Maybe I'll make it a holiday tradition... in the middle of summer! HA!
Serial killers fascinate me, but despite that I am hesitant to watch serial killer movies. Mostly because I am a wuss and get scared easily. Seven is a great thriller that is tense and full of suspense, but not many scenes that scare me. I get chills, but that's because of how the killer operates. Reminds me of real serial killers.
I've seen almost all of the Marvel comic book movies as well. When I saw the trailer for The Avengers I was really excited. It looked so good and I was not disappointed. BTW I am a Loki fangirl. Tom Hiddleston's portrayal was drool-worthy. I am dreading the next one because I hear Josh Whedon is promising to kill more characters and I was devastated by the death in the first Avengers movie.
One of the things I love the most about Inception is the music. It is amazing. Soft and gentle and then turns loud and bold. I can picture the movie when I listen to the soundtrack. One song I can picture the death of a character from Being Human. The movie blew me away and I love watching and it trying to find new things I hadn't noticed before.
Now I saved my number one favorite for last. Weeks after seeing the movie I am still excited about it, eager for the BluRay release. I read Warm Bodies back in 2011 and loved it. When I found out there was going to be a movie I couldn't wait. It was a wait too, but worth it. I fangirled like crazy over the movie, rereading the book and gobbling up the prequel, The New Hunger.
There you have it, ten ways to get me to spaz out. Don't forget to head to Alex's blog and check out the other participants. You might find a movie you haven't seen yet. ^_~
