Back in January, I blogged about my internal debate about whether I should put Path of Angels wide or leave it in KU. Well, as I'm sure you've guessed from the title, I finally made a decision, got off my butt (or on it given I have to be at the computer to do this) and got Michael off KU and uploaded to Smashwords.
Happy St. Patrick's Day! And what better way to celebrate when you can't drink alcohol like me than with some awesome paranormal romance and urban fantasy books? These stories are on sale for a limited time, but if you have Kindle Unlimited (KU), you can read them any time for free! KU is as good as finding a pot of books at the end of the rainbow. (Can you spot mine? Yup, Mike is in there.)
It's been a looooooooong time since I've posted a book review on the blog. I've been reading. The GoodReads Challenge has done a decent job of keeping me motivated. I did get a little behind, but read a few novellas and short stories and that got me back on track even though I'm not sure if that should count. ;)
One thing I love about flash fiction is how it lets me sneak back into worlds I've created but left behind because I had no more story ideas. My curse is I mostly write stand alones, and no matter how hard I try, I can't come up with good ideas for series. This piece is a repost from my old blog. The prompt was write something that included To the moon and the story formed so easily it was like I wasn't writing it but Cyc and Jacob were.
Don't be hushed about today's exciting Give into Reading Giveaway! Go on, shout about it. Or, ya know, just enter the giveaway and eat a cupcake.
The winner of Hunger by Jackie Morse Kessler is...
Also, while I'm being shameless, don't forget I have a book giveaway going on here.
I'm joining yet another monthly feature created by Michael D'Agostine of A Life Examined. This one is called Flashback Friday (click the link to see the other participants since the html doesn't want to work for me. D=) and it's about, you guessed it, flashing back to previous blog posts. Some might call it lazy, but Michael calls it giving love to old posts that never got the attention they deserved. We all have them too. A brilliant post that got, like, one comment. Boy, that stings. I thought it'd be fun to participate in because I have new followers and I don't expect them to go back through years of posts. Hopefully, you like this month's pick. It's about the dreaded insta-love trope.
I'm not a big fan of Valentine's Day, so of course I'd sign up for Sarah Foster's bloghop! Since it fell on the 3rd Monday of the month, which I designated as my monthly promo day, I had to decided to combine the promo post with the blog hop. Now, it's just a matter of who to drag to the party...
In the end, it only made sense to these two characters come. Which brings us to the first question Sarah posed.
This was a post I wrote back during Path of Angels releases, but I never found a good moment to squeeze it in. I decided since one of my 2016 goals was to market my books throughout the year, today is as good as any to finally publish this post.
Metatron–Angel of Thought
His name literally means "the throne beside the throne of God." He is considered one of the most important archangels who led the children out of Israel and also stopped Abraham from sacrificing his son, Isaac.
It is official! The Path of Angels series is complete. And since I was visiting my grandma this weekend, I almost forgot about it. If not for checking my email before going to bed, I would have forgotten to post this.
Every time I finish a story, whether it be a first draft or published, there is a surreal moment. I actually did it. I completed what I set out to do. Like with each book, I learned something new, made different mistakes, and generally had an awesome time.
Gabriel is 99cents at Amazon. If you haven't read Michael, now's your chance. He's free for today. Of course, then you'll have to grab Zadekiel and Jophiel before reading Gabriel.
I want to say thanks for being with me on this journey. I'm going to sit back and relax, and try not to hit refresh on the sales page too much.
