Writing was something I fell into bu accident. Usually when I dreamed about what I wanted to do, I imagined myself as a famous artist like Picasso. It was honestly out of boredom that I decided to write down a story I always daydreamed about. After that, another story came. Then another. And another. Then the idea for Being Human struck. I couldn't write fast enough. The story seemed unique to me and something others might enjoy reading as well. I began learning all I could about publishing. In 2011, I self-published Being Human. As of 2019, I have seven books between two pen names. I wanted people to easily be able to distinguish between my young adult paranormal and science fiction books and my new adult urban fantasy and science fiction romance books and choose the book that suits them best. (You can find links to my young adult books here.)
When I'm not writing about vampires, angels, demons, or alien abduction, I enjoy knitting, making jewelry, and painting. I am a born and raised Michigander and transplant Yooper––that means I can hold my hands up and point to where I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan. I met my hubby in an Dragonball Z chat room in 2000, and in 2011 we were married on April 1st. I choose the date. I also enjoy baking and cooking, am a serious Whovian, and I have a morbid obsession with serial killers.
