About The Sorcerer's Daughter:

Now, for Larry's mini interview. Enjoy.
Introduce yourself and your books.
Hi, I'm Larry Kollar. I write mostly fantasy, but I do take side trips into SF and paranormal. I have seven books out, soon to be eight. Most of my sales come from Amazon, but I do make most (all but one) available at B&N, Kobo, Smashwords, and other places. http://farmanor.blogspot.com/p/my-ebooks.html
There wasn't one. My first memory was my fourth birthday, and I knew how to read even then. Some time when I was around seven, I started thinking that I wanted to write books. For a year or more, I would construct dialogue in my head from conversations.
You wake up one morning and find a strange green pipe your front yard. For some reason, you go down it and end up in the Mushroom Kingdom moments before King Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach. Prevent it at all costs because we are tired of Princess Peach being kidnapped.
Seriously, I'd probably yell, "I'm-a Mario!" just before I jumped in.
Can I bring my carbine down the pipe? I don't know if I could do him in, but getting shot at should distract Bowser long enough for the princess to get away. The daughter is the Mario Kart whiz in our family, so she could zoom in and get us all outta there.
Zombies are rapidly turning humans into the undead and you are the sole human left. Being a brilliant scientist (of course) you must create a cure that will revert humanity.
Ironically, I'm already writing a story along those lines: two med researchers are tasked with developing a vaccine for a gengineered virus that (unbeknownst to them) their sinister employers plan to unleash.
A meteor cashes and you’re caught in the radiation and are gifted with superpowers. What superpower do you have, what’s your superhero name and city you vow to protect from your nemesis(name him too)?
I am Blink, with the power to teleport! With the other heroes of Skyscraper City (a #FridayFlash series), I fight for truth and justice. DeVine is my personal archenemy, he who can make a blade of grass grow into an impenetrable mass of thorns and vines. As I have to be in a particular pose to blink away, I can be caught just as hard in his traps as anyone else.
The problem is, I'm not sure if I'd rather be a hero or a villain. It sure is tempting to think about blinking into a JP Morgan bank vault and making a withdrawal…
The TARDIS has just landed in your flower bed and the Doctor stumbles out. Aliens are on their way to take over the Earth and his sonic screwdriver is broken. He needs your help stopping them. How do you save the planet?
Fortunately, I have a small building full of tools and spare electronics parts. If we can get that thing patched up (in the nick of time, of course), then we can endure the wife going "are you gonna get that thing out of my flowers?" I hope the Doctor brings beer.
After over 25 years of writing technical documentation, some of which may have been unintentional fiction, Larry decided to share the stories he's been writing over the years. He's a firm believer in Leo Rosten's quote, "Truth is stranger than fiction; fiction has to make sense" -- because as weird as his stories may be, his real life can be even weirder.
You can find Larry on Twitter or at his website as well as Amazon (where you can also buy his books. They are good. I've read some, so you can trust me.)
