This year, my theme for the challenge is Strange Feelings: weird and possibly made up words to describe feelings we all have. I'll let you guess if the word is real or not.

––the moment you realize that you’re currently happy—consciously trying to savor the feeling—which prompts your intellect to identify it, pick it apart and put it in context, where it will slowly dissolve until it’s little more than an aftertaste
Dear Diary,
Today started out wonderful. The sun was shining, I got off work early, and found a dollar on the sidewalk. I decided to buy a lotto ticket and won five bucks! But now I can't stop thinking about it. Life NEVER goes this smoothly. Is this the calm before the storm? Is hell about to break loose? I've gone over today multiple times, tore it apart, and examined every detail. Something is wrong about today. To find out more about the April A to Z Blogging Challenge and join the fun click here!

I'm guessing the word is real. No-one could make up one like that! :)

I will look out for one of those! Whether or not I'll remember the word remains to be seen!

Nice! I can relate with this, sometimes when I am 'suppose' to be sad and I realize i am enjoying I quickly feel sad... It's a weird feeling glad to find a word for it.

See, that's why I always assume the worst. Having good luck just reminds you that bad luck is right behind to make up for it.

That's pretty much the way I always feel when something good happens. Even something as innocent as a calm day can have me thinking, "What's coming up next?"

Mind definitely plays naughty tricks on self...Its all a mind game and we are like puppets at its hands. No wonder it is said that mind is a great servant but a worst master!

Yes I can relate to this feeling but luckily it doesn't happen too often - I'm a glass is half full type of person :) As for whether today's word is real or fake - I'm going for Fake but I truly have NO idea!!!!

I've had moments of noticing my happiness, I don't think I've ever tried analyzing it though. I just enjoy it. :)

Oh no! Reminds me of a phrase, "waiting for the other shoe to drop." http://www.mauijungalow.com

Ha ha ha. I've seen that feeling in action. I've also known people like this who do it to others.

I'd always associated the suffix,OSIS, with an affliction. This gives that suffix a whole new purpose.
