Day 3: Blessings
Meredith writes: Sometimes we get too caught up with life's circumstances. Count the blessings you've had to be grateful for this year.
I don't often take time to appreciate the good things in life, letting them pass me by, so I'm going to highlight a few blessings I've had.
Recently, my eye doctor decided to take me off my eye drops, and so far so good. No flare ups and that means I don't have to regularly make appointments to make sure my eye doesn't pop out or whatever (no, that's not really a concern. I'm joking.) Bills are getting paid off. That's always a good thing. Oh, and I have a day job. It may mean I'm not writing as much, but now I have money to spend on promotion or hiring an editor and cover artist for upcoming books.

Stabilized. After being jobless for a year and struggling to make ends meet, it's nice to have steady income of my own. I'm able to help hubby with bills and expenses, and buy something I want without worry. Less worry is always good for my writing. It is the first thing to suffer when stress strikes.
