This was a post I wrote back during Path of Angels releases, but I never found a good moment to squeeze it in. I decided since one of my 2016 goals was to market my books throughout the year, today is as good as any to finally publish this post.
His name literally means "the throne beside the throne of God." He is considered one of the most important archangels who led the children out of Israel and also stopped Abraham from sacrificing his son, Isaac.
It is official! The Path of Angels series is complete. And since I was visiting my grandma this weekend, I almost forgot about it. If not for checking my email before going to bed, I would have forgotten to post this.
Every time I finish a story, whether it be a first draft or published, there is a surreal moment. I actually did it. I completed what I set out to do. Like with each book, I learned something new, made different mistakes, and generally had an awesome time.
Gabriel is 99cents at Amazon. If you haven't read Michael, now's your chance. He's free for today. Of course, then you'll have to grab Zadekiel and Jophiel before reading Gabriel.
I want to say thanks for being with me on this journey. I'm going to sit back and relax, and try not to hit refresh on the sales page too much.
This time around, Path of Angels teasers are going to be on Mondays. I have some guest posts and other posts scheduled for Friday, so I opted to swap tormenting you to Mondays.
Because why not make Mondays even more evil? >8D
Like the other times (minus Jophiel because I forgot to do it. SORRY JOE!) I'll start with the opening scene to Gabriel. (Watch out, Gabe has a potty mouth. ^_~
But before we get to the teaser, you should totally sign up to help with release day.
I'm posting every day due to the A to Z Blogging Challenge, and while it drives me nuts to have two posts in one day (don't ask why. It's one of my quirks) I have news unrelated to the challenge to share.
Michael's release went amazing and is getting good reviews. (You can still grab it for 99cents. *hint hint* *nudge nudge* *STAB*) But I can't only focus on book one. Zadekiel, book two, is release is fast approaching. I even have it up for pre-order already. *STABS AGAIN* Of course if I want you to hit that button, how about I entice you with what the story is about and show you the beautiful cover.
If you'd like to help out with release day, fill out the form below the blurb. Or you can just support my Thunderclap.
OMGOMGOMGOMG! It's finally here. The big P day. Or R day. Either publish or release works. Although release can be more kinky because it's use in sex scenes for romance stories all the time. *stares off into space with deep contemplation...*
I have to admit, it feels a bit anti-climatic. The book has been up for pre-order, so you could buy it before today. But you couldn't read it until now... Unless you had an eArc, which some did.
You know what? Over thinking is bad, mmkay? I have a shiny new book out. With more to come in the future. (Next up is Zadekiel!) Let's celebrate. I'll be all over the blogsphere all week, talking about Michael, his brothers, and Lake. Join me and we'll party. While you're shaking your booty, snag Michael for only 99 pennies on Amazon.
When I wrote Path of Angels, I asked myself, "Why did I have to stick with one romance?" The story's romances bounce from LGBT to Hetro. I like that fact, but I foresee it causing some bumps in the road. People just wanting one romance might not want to read the other. Most authors stick with just one for a reason. They are aiming for that audience. Not all though. I have met other authors who decided to not to be boxed in. I'm glad to be one. Even if it makes marketing a little trickier (but hello, Snapshots wasn't the easiest to put into a genre box.)
Time to meet Lake Divine. If my beta readers and critique partners and editor are anything to go by, Lake is going to be a popular character. It must be his tragic past and the way the world stomps on him. You can't help but want to give him love.
He deserves it, doesn't he?
The month of March is going to be filled with Angels, but I'm going to take the spotlight away from Michael for a day to show you something I did recently that I'm kind of proud of. I made a book cover for my YA LGBT Paranormal (is there any other kinds of story worth writing?) story, Out of Secrets.
If you know me, then it might not be a surprise. I was an art major for a little while and had plans on being an artist. But I SUUUUUUUCK at Photoshop (or Gimp.) It's not for the lack of trying. I just can't wrap my brain around the damn program.
So when I say I made a book cover, it's a big deal. I mean, look at it. LOOK!
With Friday Quick Fic suspended until after the A to Z Blogging Challenge, I needed something to fill Fridays. Since I have a book releasing soon, I thought what could be more evil than to post teasers? I'm going to torment you with snippets from Michael in hopes you won't be able to resist the buy button.
It's time for the Insecure Writer's Support group again. IWSG is posted the first Wednesday of every month. It is the brain child of Ninja Captain Alex J. Cavanaugh. Get your fears and insecurities out or give words of encouragement. We're writers, let's support each other!
Okay, seriously, wasn't it just IWSG last week? How can this year already be flying by? I'm not busy with getting a new series ready to publish or anything. Oh wait, yes I am.
