This week I am celebrating my bout of fatigue from the other week easing up. I have learned that it takes time to fully recover and feel normal. I can get things done, but there comes a point when my body says, "Nope. Nap time." (Where as fatigue is saying, "Nap time. NOW." And I'm saying, "But I just woke up.") Then I have to call it quits for the day. Otherwise, I risk a return of the fatigue.
Anyone who deals with a chronic illness will tell you these sorts of discoveries are vital for dealing with the illness. A normal person may just bounce back, but someone with a chronic illness has to slowly claw their way back.
I'm also celebrating finishing another first draft! The story will go under Patricia Josephine and is called Deep Curse. It's just shy of 18K words. Now to let it sit before I dive into editing.
