If so, get your ass out there!!
Lisa Genova, who wrote Still Alice, sold her book from the trunk of her car. I asked her, "Why did you do that?" & she said, "Because I believed in my book. It had to be read!!!"
You. Can. Do. It. Too. <3 Great Post. Good Luck!
So, do I believe in my book?
Yes. If I didn't I wouldn't be trying to publish Snapshots. When I started thinking about publishing Being Human I had a strong feeling that people would enjoy the story. I believed people would want to read it. That helped motivate me to put it out there. I knew there would be bad with the good, but I still believed in the story. I still do. When my sales suck and it seems no one is going to buy my book, I have no regrets. I don't regret this path when I'm having a really bad day and considering giving up. Remembering how I believed in my stories keeps me going. I do not want to give up because I believe in my stories. I may not make a million dollars on them, but people will read and enjoy them because I believed.
Do you believe in your books? Your writing? Yourself?
