IWSG is posted the first Wednesday of every month, but I'm posting early this month. Explanation is below with my writing goals. It is the brain child of Ninja Captain Alex J. Cavanaugh. Get your fears and insecurities out or give words of encouragement. We're writers, let's support each other!
Oh man, I almost forgot IWSG if not for Heather Gardner mentioning it on her blog. Currently, I don't feel insecure. It's a new year, so I'm excited for what that brings. All that should change quickly because I have a book release on February 14th and just thinking about it makes my stomach squirm. I could really use some help with release day (below.) Also, I'm looking for people who might want an eARC in exchange for an honest review. Hit me up in the comments with your email if you're interested.
This month IWSG is asking:
What writing rule do you wish you’d never heard?
That's an easy question for me: Write every day. There are times I feel so guilty for not being able to write every day. Especially, when I have times I do write every day. I'll get momentum going and crank out the words for days. Then it's like I've worn myself out and need to recharge and get no writing done for an equal amount of days. I've learned that we all write differently and some of us can't write every day. We write when we can. And that's okay.
