Oh wait, I remember what it was. I saw a pin on Pinterest for galaxy sky painting and I wanted to try it. Then I saw other things on Pinterest that looked fun, and next thing I know I had about a 100 bookmarks made.
Crafting is a bit more instantaneous gratification (depending on what you're making.) I like doing it because when the writing is getting me down, I can create something quickly and it gives my creative juices a boost. It actually makes me want to write. The other thing it has going for it is crafting doesn't require as much thinking as writing. There's no words to figure out. I can literally pick three colors and throw them at a canvas and see what happens. That's nice when I'm especially feeling down when my chronic illnesses has made me fatigued and I want to do something productive but don't have the brain power to write. I don't feel like I wasted my day.
How do you exercise your creativity when you're too tired to write? Do you do anything crafty or artsy? Does it make you want to write afterwards?
