So I need to figure out what I should blog about. I've seen advice tell writers to not talk about their writing process. Readers don't care about that. But then I hear that writers should talk about their writing. Keep readers in the loop about how progress is going.
You know, in the writing world there is a lot of conflicting advice.
With advice like that, it's no wonder I have no idea what to talk about. Do I keep talking about my writing process? Or do I branch out? Be more personal? I have no qualms blogging about Green Day. Maybe I should try posting snippets more. I did that when I had this blog at blogger, but the posts never seemed to get much interest. Interviews and guest posts tend to be quiet too. That always makes me feel guilty too. Like the visitor is wasting their time on my blog.
Another bit of advice I've seen is to comment on other blogs. Good advice, but tough when the blogs I read don't entice me to comment either. I guess we're all struggling to reel readers in. Still, I'm left with the question:
What do YOU want to see on this blog?
