I'm posting it early because tomorrow I will be at a craft show all day hopefully selling lots of pretty jewelry and a few books. Wish me luck! =)
This past weekend I had quite the slump. Zero motivation and energy for writing. Sunday, hubby and I slept in, then a few hours after being awake, I dozed off and slept the afternoon away. I wrote no words.
Then, the motivation came back. I started cranking out words like it was nothing. Easy peasy. I do this all the time. Either I have nothing or a whole lot. I've learned to work around my spurts and take advantage of my tank when it's full.
But it's frustrating because I'm still off the day job and have loads of time for writing, and I'm trying to rewrite Being Vampire from scratch (rewritten 8731 so far.) Time is ticking down though. The building is getting closer to being done and we'll be reopening (and customers will be happy. Today the boss and I went to an art fair and lunch and so many people stopped to ask when we were opening.) I don't want to waste my free time because, once I go back to work, it will take a little while to get used to getting up early and working. My schedule needs to be reset and the adjusting is going to cut into my writing.
