I needed something to give me a kick and with Nano just being around the corner, it seemed like just the thing I needed. Like George, I wasn't going to be writing a story, but had a different goal in mind. I have stories that need rewriting and editing, so why not use Nano to motivate me? One month, edit 1667 words a day on a story. Now, most of my stories aren't 50K, so once I get to the end of one, I'll move to another. My stories under Patricia Josephine will be my focus. Abducted Life will be up first and then I think Luc's story (which I'm considering calling Mistakes of the Past. What do you think of that as a title for a NA Urban Fantasy with the devil?) After that, I have a YA I've been wanting to rewrite that might be called Dark Water.
It's safe to say that I have enough editing to get me through November with plenty to spare and am dipping my toe into NanoWriMo. If you're doing it, let me know and we can cheer each other on.
