Orgulous: proud

It had been love at first sight. Big, brown eyes watching Cammie from a pet store window and begging her to take him home.

She hung up her coat, debating tricks to teach. The puppy was missing when she turned around. She raced through the house, finding him in the bathroom, surrounded by white and an orgulous look on his face.

Scolding, she swatted his bottom. He yelped, tail between his legs. Guilt rose instantly. Cammie hugged the trembling animal, promising forgiveness. He licked her cheek, tail wagging.

Already, he knew what it’d take to get out of trouble.

Lovely O. Keep up the fab work. I don't have dogs now but this brought back some memories.

It's been a few years since I've owned a dog too. I miss it.

In Italian the word is Orgolioso. :)

Those cute little buggers are too clever for their own good. My girl has me completely wrapped around her paw.

Yup. It makes you wonder, who is really in charge?

Can't overrate the ability of cuteness to get some life forms out of trouble.

I know! But how can you resist puppy dog eyes?

It's impossible to resist puppy eyes and puppy kisses.

I know, but I could think of worse things to be susceptible to.

A perfectly vivid picture that likely resonates with most puppy parents.

I'm so glad Titan doesn't chew toilet paper from the roll. He will dig tissues from the garbage and he's got a sock fetish, but I've nearly broken him of that now.

Love all of your A-Z. :-)

I didn't know this word, but was able to guess from the bit of Italian I know. I see someone else pointed out that connection, too!

I can't see the word as Italian, but it has ORG in it so I keep thinking Ogre and Orc so that's probably why.
