Since goal setting is very motivational to me, I've decided to start there. Each Monday I will be posting goals and stating how I did the previous week. Also, I expect y'all to help motivate me. Tweet me, message me, stab me with a pointy stick and say "ARE YOU WRITING?" If not, well, I might be at the day job, and therefore, can't write. But if I'm not, give me the stink eye and tell me to get to it or else I won't get my reward because I found those work quite well too.
My major goals will be to whip Being Vampire into shape. Yes, I finally decided I need to commit to working on it. Another one is work on the story that is set in Snapshots' universe. It's titled WHISPERS and focuses on a boy from Jacob's tribe. Still set on earth because it's after the events of Snapshots.
Those are the big goals that I'm going to cut into smaller, less intimidating goals. Which mostly will be work on at the minimum one chapter a day. I know that's small, but on days I work the day job, I lose a nice chunk of the day, so one chapter is a goal I feel I can attain even when tired. On my days off, I can certainly do more. I did decide to give myself Sunday off. It can be my slack off day. If I feel like working I will, but if not, I'll take it easy and give my muse a break.
My rewards will vary. Right now, I'm all about jigsaw puzzles, so that will be my current reward. I get a chapter done, I get to work on a puzzle.
So there you have it. Right on this blog. Goals: Work on one chapter of Whispers and/or Being Vampire. Reward: puzzle. I've said it, so now I have to do it.
