Are you a dragon?
Guest post by C. Lee McKenzie
For over 2,000 years the doctrine of Chinese astrology has guided believers in making decisions. It has allowed for the creation of legends and is an integral part of Chinese mythology. This ancient lore has always fascinated me, so it seemed time to write a story that gave me a chance to explore it even more. That fascination is what's behind Sign of the Green Dragon. There are twelve animals that appear on the calendar, each with characteristics that define the people born in that year.
If you’re a Dragon you were born under one of the most powerful signs. People born in the Year of the Dragon are energetic and warmhearted, charismatic, lucky at love and egotistic. They’re natural born leaders, good at giving orders and doing what’s necessary to remain on top. It’s interesting that their best companions are Monkey and Rat.
Here are some birth years for Dragon.
Attention all Dragons! Here’s your 2016 horoscope:
“From February 8, 2016 to January 27, 2017 with Fire Monkey energy in play, everything about Fireloving Dragon will be magnified. Keep any domineering tendencies in check lest you sabotage yourself, especially near the powerpacked March 8 Total Eclipse. Even brilliant ideas need teamwork to succeed.
Luckily, nimble Monkey is nothing if not practical. With Monkey helping, you'll see things with greater clarity. After some slowdowns and delays through July and August you'll begin to feel you have really turned a corner after the September 1 New Moon. After that, enjoy the ride!”
That sounds like a darned good rest of the year for you Dragons. Congratulations.
