At least nothing wisdom imparting.
Nah, if I could tell my younger self something, it'd probably be, "Pimples and zits don't magically disappear when you become an adult."
I don't know how it got into my head. Maybe in some teen magazine with too skinny chicks with flawless skin. But I did think acne was solely a teenager problem. Those cases of adults with it were rare and those poor saps. Now, that's not to say skin problems don't clear up when you get older. They definitely aren't as bad. Or maybe they don't seem as bad because we're no longer teenagers worried about appearance and what our peers will think. Maybe we've learned not to give a flying flip (YA blog, remember, I have to watch my language. ^_~) I don't know which one it is, but I do know the problem doesn't magically stop. It rears its ugly head from time to time. You can always tell when I'm stressed out by my skin. That and how quiet I get on Twitter.
Yeah, that's my older self giving wisdom to my younger self. Maybe there is some wisdom in there. Problems don't magically fix themselves. Just like zits. I feel all buddah-ish now. Line up here and I'll dole out more sagely things. (Disclaimer: I will not be held responsible for you getting arrested because of something I said. =P)
PS: It's my birthday tomorrow and I get to celebrate by working all week. Oh joy.
