Indies rock and I'm not just saying that because I'm one. I've found so many great books. Books on par with traditionally published books. I've also found tons of help for my own writing in the indie/writing community. Let's not forget all the friends I've made. These friends are people I wouldn't have met if not for Indie books.
But enough about me. I've never been good at talking about myself anyways. I decided it would be more fun to give shoutouts to a few indies who I've discovered or befriended and love their books.
Writers I've discovered are Thea Atkinson. I read Anomaly by her and was so blown away by the story I wrote my first book review. Other books by her have captivated me as well. I try to make a point to pick up all her books.
MR Merrick is another author. We chat a little on Twitter and I like to bug him for more Willy. (Minds out of the gutter, that's a demon character in his series.) I need to pick up the rest of his Protector series. Being jobless has hindered me, but I'll be starting a job soon so I'll have cash to get his books I've been longing to buy.
Susan Ee and Chelsea M. Cameron are two others I have read and loved. Chelsea and I have chatted on twitter and I know she's working on her New Adult series, but I really want to read the next book in her Whisper series. Susan Ee blew me away with Angelfall. Serious, read that book.
These are just a few. There are so many more indies that I have met/friended/discovered. Not all are published. I wish them luck to getting their novels published. And to the ones with books already out there, my fingers are crossed that you sell lots and lots.
