#WriteMotivation October

OMG Are we really at October? Halloween? Pumpkins? BOOKS AS CANDY!  Last year I did a Halloween hop where authors handed out their books like candy. I will be doing it again. Kate Tilton asked me about being a guest on #K8Chat for it and that made me have to make a decision on it. I'll be posting about it and having sign ups soon.

Anyways, on to recap my September goals. I think I may be the only one still doing this. Oh well, it helps me so =PPPPPPPPP

  • Weekend Pics and Friday Quick Fic buffer
I've enough of both to last me the month so this is done.
  • Finish Horns, review it, and start a new book
Working on Horns still. Over halfway. Over halfway on another book I've started a few months ago too. At least I'm reading.
  • Bug people about beta reading so I can resume editing stories ;)
I went through Elsie's notes and then sent a few stories to Christine Rains. I asked her if she had beta read for me because I could have sworn someone with a C name did.
  • Continue writing Being Vampire
Haven't done much on this because LUC WON'T SHUT UP!
  • Exercise 3x a week
I took a few walks with hubby. The day job makes it rough. I get home between 2 and 3pm, but after working 8-9 hours (sometimes straight with no breaks) the last thing I want to do is move.

I didn't really do too well, eh? I totes blame the day job. You know how hard it is getting up at 5:33am and running around a kitchen for 8 hours? The AC does not make it to the grill area either. *sadface* There's no fighting the nap when I get home. The silver lining is the nap lets me do writing later on. I've written over 10K of what Luc has told me.
  • Friday Quick Fic and Weekend Pics for the month
  • Finish Horns and pick a new book
  • Beta read for Elsie
  • Get Luc to shut up or write this story so I can work on Being Vampire
  • Take walks with hubby if I'm not going to do real exercises (he walks fast)
Wish me luck! And lots of good nights' sleep.

I get up early to exercise before work. If I waited until after, I'd never do it. Good luck with your goals!

Given that I get up at 5:30am, exercise isn't happening before work. I have enough trouble getting out of bed on days I don't have to work.
